Monday gig?

I'm back in Texas.

I'm hoping fans will kindly share details of the Monday show, which by my reckoning ended half an hour ago.

Any setlist changes? Guests on stage?

How was Glen Matlock?

Thanks.

  1. Set list same as Friday, except with full version of Whole Lotta Shakin before The Journey. Buff was the best he's been, maybe this was one of his one out of three good days, but he jumped up and took the applause at the end of Roll Away the Stone and looked like he was having the time of his life. Glen Matlock did 7 or 8 acoustic songs, including Burning Sounds & Ambition for us old Rich Kids fans and Stepping Stone & ending with a singalong Pretty Vacant for us old Pistols fans. Really interested to see what Joe Elliott's choice of songs will be this evening. I'll let you know tomorrow. Great to meet you John. All the best Toni

I sat next to Rick Richards on Friday night. I don't know whether he got to jam with anyone, but he sure plays a mean air guitar! And his air keyboards were damn impressive too! I asked him if the Georgia Satellites had been listening to 'Walking With A Mountain' when they wrote 'Battleship Chains' - he laughed and said, 'well, its written with the same two chords...' Seemed like a great bloke! Or as Morgan Fisher would say... 'Worra bloke!'

Tuesday set was pretty much the same but instead of Elvis we got Dylan ("Like a Rolling Stone" and one other I'll remember later. Ralphs did an extended guitar solo on "Ready" that was awesome. Show lasted about 2.25 hours. Monday was good. Tues was great.

  5. It was a brief version of "Knockin on Heaven's Door" that they also covered. Can't believe I forgot! Great show. Great time. Glad I made the journey. Worth every second and every dime.
